Other notes | Keith learned to play in Darlington at the age of 7, playing the cornet. He also played
Soprano Cornet before moving to Middlesborough where he played cornet and then horn. On moving to Bournemouth
he joined the horn section of Boscombe Band. |
| His most embarrassing moment came when marching along Bournemouth promenade with the band whilst filming
for Thora Hird's "Praise Be" BBC TV programme he tripped over the camera crew's cable! His best banding moments
came when playing on Boscombe's solo horn section when they were the solo band at the Royal Albert Hall and reaching
the 2009 National Finals with Downton Band. |
