Its the end of a busy day in a busy month for the Band. On Remembrance Sunday morning the Band, each year, has the privilege of marching the veterans to the cenotaph before playing music before, during and after the service there. Today we got a bit wet but, as one of the bandsmen was overheard to say, it was a minor inconvenience compared to what the members of our armed forces have given for us over the years. This evening the corps held its annual "Night to Remember" - this year focussing on the Battle of Britain and with the proceeds going to the Royal Air Force Association. All of the corps sections took part - as always we, as a band, took an extra interest in the Young People's Band item - this year it was 632½ Squadron. Well done Malcolm and the YP Band.
