It has been a strange year - difficult for many - and yet there is still so much to be thankful for and Thankful is the title of a new CD featuring the singing of Gemma Hinchliffe.  The Band were delighted to be able to contribute to this recording (quite a while ago now!) and are pleased to announce that it was published yesterday.

For those who do not know - Gemma is married to our solo horn player Jolyon Hinchliffe  as well as being the daughter of former bandmaster Roland Wright and the granddaughter of former Bandmaster Geoff Otter.  One of the songs featured on the CD - They Could Not - was on the Band programmes a few times under Geoff's leadership with Gemma's mother, Jane Wright, as the soloist.  So the family connection to the Band is very strong.

As well as support from the Band, Gemma also has two other special guests - Philip Cobb and her sister, Amelia.
