Today the Band have moved a little bit further along the road to the resumption of our service following the disruption caused by the pandemic.

We are, of course, still not allowed to meet together as a Band, but we have been able to produce a 'virtual' recording of Ray Steadman Allen's march Exultation. For a variety of reasons not everyone was able to participate, but the majority of the Band are featured in the video.

This is our first venture into this virtual world.  Many other groups have been producing videos under similar conditions almost since the start of the various lockdowns over a year ago.  The experience of creating our own recording has brought us all a greater appreciation of the challenges associated with this way of producing music together.

We are putting in place some plans for the future - whilst bearing in mind that there is still much uncertainty about what will be allowed.  In the meantime we hope that you enjoy the march - hopefully more music will be added soon.
